Whoa, nice.  You are truly gifted at making small mecha.
Hello Chris, I'm glad to see you!
We're both newer members of this Mech-Tech communiy.

I like your models. As you said, your mechs are a little boxy,
but you have sure sensitivity about mech-coolness, I feel.
Weapons, Extra-units, Dash-rollers, wooooo, really nice, tasty.
So I expect to love your new stuff coming. ....."Madcat"? ;-)

All the designs I have tried to build that
hold a minifig inside have turned out
larger and boxier than these.
Of course. B-)
Because my suit does NOT protect all parts of minifig,
completely.
You can see fingers, arms, legs, and a head with helmet ;-)
Maybe that is the secret of no-boxy-style.

I really like how they are so small and detailed,
but at the same time are very articulate
and seem to hold pose very nicely.
Sure, "playability" is an important factor for me.
So I'm glad to hear you pointed out them. Thanks!

They also seem very well constructed
and do not look as though they would fall apart easily.
My answer is simple.
Small models do not fall down so often. :)
My bigger models.....hmmmm, for example, this.....?

......'orrible!!EXTREMELY HORRIBLE !! No, you must stand,
Oh, nooooooooo!!!! B-X

I might have to try a design along these lines.
As same as Eric, that's a brilliant dream for me!

Also, nice idea using the neck pieces to hold the legs
onto the pilot.
I never would have thought of that.
Thank you !!!
If you tried, you must be brave and keep your heart strongly
against too-firm-connect between leg_stud and neck_pieces!
B-)

Regards.
