Hi All,
Wasn't sure if this was the best question for Star Wars, Military, or Mecha
folks. I'm interested in building the fighter jet and mecha models on the
back of the 7163 box. Has anyone attempted this? I could probably
duplicate the sections showing in the picture easy enough but filling in the
blanks is the hard part for me. I know better MOCs may exist for each
genre, but I don't have a huge parts collection so building these two cool
looking (IMO) models with just the pieces I have in my 7163 box is real
appealing. If someone's built either of these two and then converted it to
LDraw that would be perfect. I know I'm asking for a lot, but figured I'd
check anyway.

PS: You may notice on FBTB I sort of posed this question to Jake a month
ago, hoping for the plans straight from the LEGO designer who built them,
but Jake didn't bite.
PPS: Did anyone else find it interesting that despite TLC's assertion (I
believe) that they would not do Mecha or Military, that they went and did
both as back of the box inspiration for the same set? Don't know what it
might mean, just found it interesting...
