Hi Gil,
A conth or two ago I actually didn't have red stored in my big parts storage
bins/drawers, cause I never was a fan of red as a colour. But for some
reason I decided to assimiliate it back into my 'in use' collection and I
realised just how striking it can be when used to highlight a predominantly
black model. Chuck in a bit of brown and dk grey for toning and it turns out
quite striking indeed.
When I'm doing the writeup for each model I often ask myself if it's worth
writing all of that backinfo but as you say, it makes the design much richer
and allows people to relate more to it.
Thanks for the kind words,
Zac
