Hello all-
Just announcing the New AMX-17 Sniper Unit Mod. A mod of the old AMX-17, it
has been fun building. I added new features I wanted before, as well as
fixing old problems. Since it is a mod, I doubt it qualifies for
Mechastruct, but if Tony says go.... Anyway,stat readout below.

Technical Readout:
A great mecha to begin with, the AMX-17 has performed well in it's new role
as a sniper. Re-equipped with better weaponry, advanced leg gyros, and more
mobile arm units, it is made for the job.
The MekTek Havoc Sniper Rifle is a Magnetic Acceleration type rail gun.
Quiet and powerful, it can propel a depleted uranium slug through 6 inches
of titanium. It comes with the new EagleEye Trifecta scope, equipped with
NiteGlow, Thermal imaging, Laser targeting, and standard scopes. Bandit
pilots aim for the cockpit on enemy mecha, usually trying to kill the
machine by taking out it's pilot.
Deadly and feared, some pilots refuse to go out against a Sniper Unit.
These small mecha wield one of the more powerful weapons available, making
them a match for much larger enemies. But the big drawback to the Sniper
Unit is cost and speed. They are rather slow with the Rifle attached, as
they cannot wield it with standard graspers. Pilots had better make sure
they killed their target, or they may never get another chance. Also, they
are extremely expensive to field, because of the array of special parts used
on such a small mecha body.
