Rob, I streched what I had, plus the 1/4 Oval Technic beam plates are only
avail. in Dark Grey. (The ones I use in the upper Legs)(Thanks Tobbe) I got
them in the Destroyer Droid set (and x2 from Brian Sad!). So adding Dark
Grey to the overall Bot design helped blend them in better. Besides, the
classic Grey-Dark-Grey combo is a Mechers best freind. A common color staple
in our little corner of the woods.
Does it realy look out of place?
