Hey all, Me and the young'un got together and made another character from Tech Romancer (for those unfamiliar with the game, there are screenshots here: (URL) but you can judge the lego version here: (URL) had lots of fun, and I have to say, it's (...) (...) Haa, this has been on Brickshelf for quite some time now, it is good to see it posted on Lugnet. The Pulse seems to be very flexible and well done (even somewhat Eva like). Hey Stuart, this is really a piece of art. The articulated torso is awesome. It has a really nice smooth shape to it. And the shoulders have such a cool shape to them. Great use of that piece. Hey look at that! Look at the way you guys made the head! Really unique looking! Man I wish my Pop built Lego with me! Well, then again....LOL!! (...) Just building with with someone younger has taught me this! He'll want to do something, and we'll go with it-- if it's too weak to support the structure, or if we find a better way, it's all part of the Lego experience. I think it's actually (...) I believe that all the character in the Tech Romancer game are derivative of other 'genres' of mecha (one Eva-style, one Gundam, for instance), so ours is sort of re-re-interpreted ;^) The two fighting scenes really shine as something (...) Looking good man. What'd be cool if you can get a movie of these guys fighting like in the game. What I like about the Mecha is that this is a good exercise in how a mecha can look humanoid with out looking human to work. This guy looks bare bones. (...)
