I've been coordinating with Mark, and I'll send a few yet-to-be-made origami
and microfig scale mecha to him to show at BricksWest, and possibly give
some insight to all you west-coast "Mecha Mecca" guys who can build
behemoths but can't handle the little "need-the-tweezers-in-there-guys"
(right Bryce? :-).  Hopefully I can get 6-10 different designs out that way
for everyone to see.

Hi Everyone,

I just volunteered to host a Mecha building workshop at BricksWest.

I will be bringing the following with me:

http://www.nwlink.com/~sandlin/lego/mecha/anubis

http://www.nwlink.com/~sandlin/lego/mecha/hardygun

I plan to use a loose outline like this:

1) What is a "Mecha" vs a "Mech"?

2) Different styles of Mecha design

3) "How do I start building a mecha"?

4) Mecha Joints

5) Q&A

What I need from you folks is a list of questions. You know... what
kinds of things do you think I should discuss? I want to be prepared for
all the questions I can.

Also, for those of you who live in the LA area, like Bryce and Dave
Johann, if you guys wanted to help host the workshop, that would be
great. Or at least hang out in the corner and help if I get stuck on
trying to describe an issue. ;^)

Discuss...
