Finally! and all I can say is Wow!! I didn't know it had a cockpit, sweet! Your feet on all of your mecha are awesome, this is no exception, the head is cool too. My only thought would be that the arms a tad thin, but it still looks great! Keep it (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha: The Phantom —Dave Johann
(...) Looks great, Joel! I like the almost feral look of the head...it's amazing what just a couple of Lego parts can convey if done properly... Very nice model overall! -Dave (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks! I actually hadn't planned on using that head at first.. but I sort of just stumbled onto it.. :-) (...) Thanks again! <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha: The Phantom —Mark Sandlin
(...) I really like the head on this one. Very sinister. IMO, the feet are way too long, but I do like the clips on the end of the toes. The arms look fine up to the shoulder, and then there's about a 1x2 length of brick that makes the joint look (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha: The Phantom —Joel Dobbins
(...) __very reverently__ Thank you.. Grand Admiral.. now if you'll excuse me I have to put my legs on backwards so I can bow... :-) (...) Okay.. I'll put that in the section of my brain entitled, "things that are wrong with my mecha" (it's getting (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Beautiful I particuarily love your cockpits. The round bubble on the belly is especially nice. Also the Anti-infantry cockpit is outstanding. (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Joel Dobbins writes: I like it. alot. I love the head it gives it an animalistic feel. the arms are real cool but right below the shoulders seems a bit skinny. the guns are nice too. I love the back. my only suggestion goes to (...)         Re: New Mecha: The Phantom —Bryce McGlone
Nice mecha. You seem to be improving and growing with each new mecha you make. Unlike Mark I like the feet. I dunno maybe it's the weird sort of organic feel to them? As with everyone else I think the head rocks! Keep them coming. Other thoughts. In (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
