(...) Well done! Do you build your models IRL before you LDraw (or MLCAD) them? --Bram (25 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site! —Mladen Pejic
(...) Of course! Except they are in grey, black and red colour sceme. I'm glad you like it; I took up a large portion of Friday and Saturday building it, building it in MLCad, and they rendering it in POV-Ray! BTW How do you make a actual floor or (...)      Mladen, I noticed your mecha has a door on its back. Do any of your other mecha have entry hatches? If so, I'd like to see a picture of a pilot entering or sitting in the cockpit... just one of those "RL" touches that I think are neat. ~Mark (...)          Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site! —Mladen Pejic
Yeah, all of my mecha have entry hatches. I was going to do a pic of the inside but I was getting very tired and just wanted to put it on the net. But even if the pilot wanted to get inside the mecha, the chair would stop him, you see the chair (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks a lot Jeremy (and Mark, and Bram)! My favourite addition to this mecha was the stunstick, which is standard issue equipment for the Police Labors (i.e. Mecha) in _Patlabor_, I just wanted to through that obscure piece of info to ya'll!      (...) from back home. (As well as my Enforcer mecha) My mom UPS'd it to me last week. I expect it will get here before the weekend, at which point I will set about building all sorts of stuff.    Nice work Mladen! You're site is enormous with quality models! Judging from the amount of high quality mecha MOCs being shown it might be a good time for a Mecha design contest! I don't have any real interest in running it, but I would love to see (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site! —Mladen Pejic
You're too kind Pat! I would certainly enter such a contest, if you were willing to organize it. Speaking of quality model, a Cool LEGO Site Of The Week nomination would be swell too <nudge, nudge>, boy would I like a NOMINATION, that would be the (...)
