For all you "Mech-nics":  After seeing all the current interest in Mechas
lately,  I wanted to try my bricks at one - but something different.  I came up
with a six legged spider "cobbled" together from "useless" pieces such as: 2
Burps, a bunch of boat bows and a black canopy piece (? set?).  I also used
some star wars click hinges and guns, regular hinges, 2x2 turntables and the
"gas tank" from the Gungan sub (in the rear).  Lower gun is a gattling/rotating
type, legs swivel forward and back and move up/in and down/out.  The name is a
play on the Kabba stone in Mecca and to the way it was created.  Hope you enjoy
it (Please sign my guestbook or post to Lugnet).  Here's the link:

I can't wait to see it in person, Rick. It looks fantastic! I'll have to work hard to top that one by may. ;-) (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Rick Nice. I like the black and white legs--reminds me of some kinda Dr. Seuss patterned creature. I'm glad the parts you traded with me went to cool use. And I can't wait to meet it. Cute name, too. Henry (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Has anyone else come up with any unusual uses of the white boat bows? My last message should say "Mecha-nics" (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I gotta say, that was quite an experience--I hit the link and my senses were presented with what must be the oddest looking piece of mecha I've ever seen 'round these parts. The boat bow bricks really give it a surreal sort of angularity--when (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
