    New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
Hello all, I humbly invite anyone interested in seeing my most recent model. The site is far from finished, but this page is more or less complete (are they ever?). Please visit: (URL) welcome any comments. Thanks for your time. stuart (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: New Mecha —Mladen Pejic
WOW! Stuart, you're mecha are amazing! Very anime-inspired. I love the Hekuba, and all your other mecha. One question: Is the "Crusader" ready to fight a holy war in the East? I'm just kidding, the cross on its shield and the name made me think (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) Hey, thanks very much! This is indeed high praise! (...) Well... not really ;-) but I suppose one takes one's inspiration from somewhere... I think I may have just seen Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade prior to creation... (...) Will do. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) ha! I think he's probably more of a "stomper" than a "kicker", though... stuart (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: New Mecha —Bryce McGlone
Wow! Very nice! I dig the wings and the feet. I can't get anything but the thumbnails. I'd love to see how you did the hips, ankles, and shoulders. And yes I ALWAYS say that. I've just got a thing for new joint ideas. Yours look promising. You (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) Thank you very much. Sorry about you not getting past the thumbs-- do you use pop-up window disabling software? The page is designed to show the full views in new windows. However, I did a few quickie pov-ray views of the hips, and also posted (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) Whoops. Forgot. No, I don't live near Los Angeles. I'm in Ontario, Canada. stuart (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: New Mecha —Sun Yun
(...) Awesome mecha Stuart! I especially like the way you built the legs. I think substantial legs give mecha a strong presence when you look at them. Have you shown your other mechs before? Well, it's my first time seeing them and I have to say (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) It's certainly an idea worth much exploration. It would be great to see something similar in grey and brown instead of white and red-- too clean for medieval time, I'm thinking... And no, this is my first "showing". Thanks for looking. stuart (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: New Mecha —Geordan Hankinson
Yikes! the feet are incredible! They look like they have a mind of their own. If you just put eye's on the sides and some aquazone daggers and knives inside, those would be some scary lookin' feet. The head looks neat too, does it have a cockpit (...)          Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) lol! daggers and eyes, huh? (...) No there's no cockpit in the head, but there is one in the chest cavity. I'll put up pictures when I have a better camera. stuart (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Geordan Hankinson
(...) Yeah, it'd be like two big sets of jaws in the feet! Here, look at the head to see what I mean: (URL) you don't mind Mladen, (...) Yeah I worded that wrong, -Geordan - (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Stuart Immonen
(...) Wow! That's some excellent design-- good on yer, Mladen! Thanks for the link Geordan-- I see what you mean now-- wow again! But... jaws in the feet? lol stuart (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Geordan Hankinson
(...) I know it sounds nearly insane but... I'm serious! I think it would be kind of cool, having this big-o mecha walking around biting chunks out of tanks and soldiers with his feet! I'll go build them right now in fact! -Geordan- (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Mecha —Mladen Pejic
Thanks Stuart! Yeah, the "Mirage" sorta kicked-off a dagger/harpoon building frenzy; I just had to include them in any way I could. Here are the examples of this (unexplored, just kidding) period of my work: (URL) out Bryce Mcglone terrifying (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
