Well, a few weeks ago I had a sick day from school. I stayed home and,
having nothing else to do, I went decided to build a Giant Gundam, my plan
was to make it so large that I'd need to be inside to act as the frame. that
never came to be, I don't have nearly enough pieces to build it without it
being rainbowed (and that'd just look dumb.) I did get as far as building
the Beam cannon for it before I gave up. I called it the BAAR because it
looks like some distant relative of an AK-47. The hardest part was building
the Magazine release. it doesn't release on command, you have to grab the
mag, pull back slightly and then down, but it won't come out without
breaking otherwise. the detail pic is rather fuzzy, but i used four small
shocks set at two depths and linked in pairs to hold the mag's lock
mechanism against the technic pins that support it... I suppose you'd like
to see it, wouldn't you...

NICE! With capital letters. Great job Anthony. This is exactly what my ZERO needs right now, a nice double-barreled heave rifle (not that I dislike the Gallet Gun II but it really doesn't match the Gundam). Where do you live? If you could let me (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
