Great thanks fo the compliment, I especially appreciate it comming from you,
The Black Robot has no mechanical motion, the Red Robot has mechanical
joints supported by worm gears but no mechanical motion....and yes My
current project is evan bigger! The Robot has shoulders wider than mine! The
head is as large or larger then the average human skull. I will be posting
more pix after my Art show on March 24th. The robot will have a set of Six
legs, all said and done the Robot may take 5 years to construct and will be
about 6 feet tall!
How do you like them apples? Hee-

Take a look and lemme know what you think! Thanks!!

Jeez, Eric, I really like these- but they're just not big enough.

That was a joke.  Could you make them any bigger?  I don't think I've seen
anyone (other than Eric Harshbarger) work in that kind of scale.

Looking at all the gears, etc, do these robots have motion features like your
Mantis?

(...) Wow! So.. very... big... You should find room for a little "control room" and have a minifig surrounded by levers and control panels. :D (...) working? Looking at these pics, I get the sense it would be even more impressive in motion... eric (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
