(...) What is that? Listen...do you hear it? I think that's the sound of the bar flying clear through the roof. Amazing, Brian...simply amazing. Every thing I see on all of the Gundams is awe-inspiring. How you build to such a massive scale, and (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Um, whoa. I don't think I'll be building anything that impressive for a LONG time. Very nice work. I love the way you've used copious amounts of plates to provide a visually interesting shape. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (24 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

Thanks for all the praise. The next chapter will deal with the upgrading of 01 and 02 with new technology and parts skimmed from the 03 project by the crafty Klaupacius. Yes Senator, the Earth Federation did indeed pay for three Gundams. Ah, the (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Yehaw.... that looks sweet.... For your next project are you gonna make a mobile suit looking something like a Zaku or Gouf, or Sazabi...one eyed MSs are sweeeeeeet! Peace, -- Z. Amazing!!! I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said. It is incredible. I don't know if this has been asked before, but do you have any idea for a piece count for it? (...) Zero Three statistics: Construction time - six Lunar months (one Earth month) Number of parts - thousands (thousands) Height - 100 feet (28 inches) Cost - $400 million ($400 - etoys Lego blowout saved a couple hundred) "K" (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

(...) The Sazabi is interesting, and red, but I'm probably only going to do customs in the future rather than clones. Copying designs accurately is a lot more difficult, and not quite as fun, obsessing about details. "K" (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

Well you dont have to copy em... just do something similar... make a mobile suit instead of a gundam. Do something cool like Gouf Customs chaingun that is on his shield.... Peace, -- Z.   Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

(...) Yeah...I'm one such a budget, I can't even blink before I run out of parts. I need a LOT more plate before I can attempt that. Brick, I have. I have literally reached the point where I don't have enough 1x1 and 1x2 PLATES to make a MOC. I (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

(...) Well, maybe one of my small ones. Most of my medium/large size MOCs take between 7-10 hours. The Mithrandir actually took about 15, guesstimating. :^) ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

(...) okok..but they didn't take 6 months. So I think that 1 month for an truly experienced, talented, imaginative designer is plenty of time to think up such a creation. Like yourself! :^) Heh.   Re: Dark Gundam Zero Three

(...) Getting faster and better can be regarded as an unfortunate side effect of building, when you build primarily to keep your brain from consuming itself in your free time.
