I originally made a hand like this for Unit03 with parts from a couple of AT ST
sets, and another using just SW click hinges for the fingers.
The beefier SW hinge hand seemed more in character with a gundam so I went with
that. The thin fingers looked defleshed, and kind of creepy, like they belonged
on a tall skeletal mech, a Grim Reapertron. Another variation you can do is use
a hinge piece for the finger tip, but leave the midsection skinny, gives it a
frog finger suction cup look.

| (...) I figured I wasn't the first to do this. Both Dave Johann and Dan Jassim have told me to make the same type of hand. (...) I agree that the beefed up hands fit Unit03's look better. (...) Yeah the fingers ended up looking much more evil than I (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| This is the hand to the new mecha I'm building. It's a cop out way to use the new LOM click hinge pieces, but somebody had to do it. (URL) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
