Hi Roland & everybody else who is wondering what is going on (or NOT going on
anymore) at www.BrickCommander.com! Yes, I am obviously still alive – and no, I
have not lost my interest in LEGO. On the contrary! But first things first. For
several reasons there has no now content been uploaded to my website for many
months now – which, after almost eight years of regular weekly updates, begs for
an explanation, I guess …
No less than 3 reasons here:

- MechWarrior is not what it once was. Wizkids’ tabeltop game seems to be on
hold, with no new product released for quite some time now. So, with MW having
been the focus of my building activity for the last years, there simply isn’t
that much left for me to build anymore. I still have some models on my to-do
list, but due to lack of own and public interest they are not a priority right
now

- World of Warcraft is eating a lot of my free time recently – time that I used
to spend on building. Great game, no doubts there. But the day should have 48
hours …

- in January I have, more or less, been kidnapped and hired by The LEGO Group:
Digital Model Designer on LEGO Universe! Now I’m getting paid for doing what I
would be doing anyway, yay! :)
However, while I am based in danish Billund now, I am doing a lot of travelling
back and forth between Germany, Denmark and the US. For, well, technical reasons
all emails sent to my BrickCommander.com address end up on my PC in Germany,
where I only drop by every other week, or less - when I’m in the US. Which I am
right now, until October. Which maybe helps explaining why I have gotten from
bad to worse as far as replying to emails is concerned. If you need to contact
me, make sure to add an adequate subject line to your mail (please not just
"hi!") – and be patient ;)

Ok, this is all nice and well, but when will be the next update at
BrickCommander, at last? Ummm … ok, I promise some new stuff for OCTOBER. It’s
not that I haven’t built anything, I just haven’t gotten around to taking photos
and updating the site. All the website data is, guess what, also still on my PC
in Germany …
And yes, I’m also working on new content for BrickCommander Micro Space. Some
have noticed the building instructions for Star Trek vessels I uploaded at
Brickshelf – next on my list is creating instructions for both ISD-scale Nebula
and Galaxy-class. Physical models of both starships are already sitting on a
shelf in Billund … :)

Have a nice day!

Hello Primus,

Nice to hear you still active, and your one lucky guy for doing the
things you really like for work.

I will be keeping an eye on the site.
