With the emminent closure of Brickshelf.com the MechaHub is urging all Lego Mecha builders to migrate to Flickr.

Flickr is free and offers commenting and the ability to “circle” an area of a picture and comment on it specifically. The layout will be a bit odd at first but is easy to navigate once you get the basics.

Flickr has a MechaHub group which, while private, is open to all mecha builders.

So let’s keep the mecha community intact by having our pictures centralized on one site. It’ll also make it easier for me to find new builders and keep up on members’ models.

Hope to see you there,

Bryce McGlone MechaHub Admin

(...) Bryce, To keep things easy to find, why not encourage common tags for the photos such as "legomecha" or "mechahub" ? Best of luck with the migration. -Tim (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
