    Beetle Bay —Allister McLaren
Well, as (URL) 'promised'>, I managed to get the Beetle Bay finished for the Brislug meeting on Sunday, and Tim managed to soldier on through a hangover of fairly epic proportions to bring along his Christmas Beetle. I kinda overestimated the size (...) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

        Re: Beetle Bay —Nathan Todd
Now that is cool! I like the sleek, sparse, almost medical looking setting and equipment and the bettle compliments the bay perfectly. Great work! (...) I should have known... a room full of bugs... ; ) God Bless, Nathan (who supports MAC Mecha..) (...) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Beetle Bay —Allister McLaren
(...) Thanks Nathan. I kinda liked the idea that a machine that is presumable used in combat would still need a clean-room type facility for maintenance. It can take a rocket blast to the face, but vital systems can be taken down by a bit of dust. (...) (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Beetle Bay —Richie Dulin
(...) Excellent work, Al! What a great idea building a Beetle Bay was. Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Beetle Bay —Ross Crawford
(...) I especially like the potty in the middle so it can pee without it going everywhere. (...) Well what use would a mech be on the moon anyway? (...) Maybe if you'd taken 4 you woulda got the height right :smack: (...) How the heck did they get (...) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Beetle Bay —Allister McLaren
(...) Well grokked sir. Potty/sump tomato/tomato (...) I'm sure someone could find a use, but the Christmas Beetle didn't strike me as a moon-mech. (...) Actually the third evening was spent extensively rebuilding it to make it about 8 studs taller. (...) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Beetle Bay —Marco Tagliaferri
Hi Allister, first of all congrats on your MOC. It's really great design (...) Well up to now I thought Mecha are sience fiction. But considering this statement, it seems I was wrong. Must be fantasy. Thanks for sharing (URL) Marco> (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Beetle Bay —Jeff Findley
(...) Very nice! The only thing I'd change is the color of the arms that come down from the overhead servicing hub. I'd make them white, if you have the pieces in white. I make this suggestion only because I love the contrast of the black mech (...) (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Beetle Bay —Tim David
(...) Unfortunatly that part does't come in white, unless anyone knows better. If so sell me two! Tim (18 years ago, 1-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Beetle Bay —Eric Sophie
Great job. I think the Beetle and the Bay are both fantastic. (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)
