(...) Yay! Thank you! I brought the Blue Bear to my Lego Classes and the kids loved it. Some of the High School students want to go home and make their own. (...) Thanks! I try to use proven techniques, plus I try to use what I have and these parts added up for my to be able to make a Mech. Hello Eric! Yes thats why I like your Macro-Bot so much the high flexibility to make all the poses. Abotut the proportions, I think you are right. It was a diorama with a wall section of city, sporting a well greebled and armed wall, some scenery, a landed spacecraft styled a little bit like one of the ships (...) I love this mecha! I especially enjoy the hand design (which I haven’t seen before) and the use of technic bricks for weaponry on the chest. The track mechanism for cockpit access is also very cool. A great MOC overall. -Carl (18 years ago, 4-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Hi Lukas, for this size and weight you definitely need geared joints. Take a look at what Ben and Eric suggested. Read (URL) by Eric. In addition read what (URL) Snead> wrote on Mecha Hub.
