Re: Rizlitch Body to Leg connection

Hi Lukas, for this size and weight you definitely need geared joints. Take a look at what Ben and Eric suggested. Read (URL) by Eric. In addition read what (URL) Snead> wrote on Mecha Hub. And finally I've a few links of my own which might help: (3 (...) (18 years ago, 4-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Kumpel

Hello Dan, Spotlighted. I like this little guy. He looks as if he could stand rough environment. Only the feet bother me. I think the joint should be overlapped by the foot sides at least. Yours (URL) Marco> (18 years ago, 3-Nov-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Rizlitch Body to Leg connection

Hi fellow lego builders, I am currently working on my very own giant moveble mecha called Rizlitch. But I have run into a problem with the body to leg connection.   Re: Blue Bear

(...) Thank you for the high marks Lukas. The thin waist is a design choice and accommodates the flex in the spine by not causing a collision between the upper body and the Technic that connects to the Throw Bot Gear Box. Though, I'd like it to be a (...) (18 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thank you. (...) ahh, I didn't use a film grain filter. Rather, the effect was created from setting the camera's ISO speed to 400, plus the desaturation effect adds to the look. Hi eric, this thing is amazing!Pros: the joints are very good and the head is just like a bears.Cons: The body could be thicker in the middle. Overall 9 out of 10. From, lukas (18 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Well I did, I went back to take another look a couple of times to reflect. 75 bricks is 90 studs, if I'm reading my handy-dandy "Legometer" correcty. It looks at least that big in the photos.
