  Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Eric, I like this structure, as its a nice change from your usual subject of building. What you have going is a simple shape that dictates the entire structure, instead of a number of complex shapes competing with each other - you have those (...)   Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Well I did, I went back to take another look a couple of times to reflect. 75 bricks is 90 studs, if I'm reading my handy-dandy "Legometer" correcty. It looks at least that big in the photos. It looks to me like a Space Police II lock-up on a (...) (18 years ago, 22-Oct-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Well. Your review is a lot better than previous ones. The comment about "could be a bit bigger" is pretty stupid though. And the rating system is as annoying as ever. Overall, 4 out of 10. (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 11

This is a great mecha bay! Pros: The color is perfect and the two towers are very good. I also like the rails connecting them. Cons: The whole thing could be a bit bigger. Overall , 9 out of 10. (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Wow! Lots of detail to look at, actually it took me a while before I discovered the Mecha! I like the side entrances with the ringed ladders. But green ground on the moon feels really out of place, even though it complements the rest of the (...) (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Just look at all those wasted castle parts... ; ) Serious;y, this is a great MOC, my faviourite of your bays so far. I like the grey with red/green. I don't know why but it works very well.   Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Ya know, I don't really like Mecha and I usually think "man, not another Mecha creation". But this rocks! The best Mecha thing I have seen in a long time, probably ever. And right up near the top of Moonbase stuff too. Great job! The green in (...) (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 11

Brickshelf Find: Active Livefire by acro897

Attention on deck. Ok team, I've got the latest Brickshelf find for you so gather round. This mech is an interesting fusion of bionicle with standard Lego and technic. The color scheme has a nice GM ring to it to boot. This slender mech probably (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

People had a similar reaction to me when I first started posting on message boards, I have a real sarcastic sense of humor, but it can come off as cruel in writing. Anyway, thanks (...)
