Just completed (well mostly complete) this mech design last weekend. Its
based on the Herculan (Starseige talk for a Mech) to be featured in the
upcoming Starsiege 2845 game. This one is called a Tyr.

Its a completely original lego design and was made form just a few photos of
the Herc I found online. Its somewhat posable but fairly limited in that
regard. The legs are supported with dual AT-AT click hinges at the knee and
ankle joints. I use a differential type of hip design to keep the torso
level.
Ill put this up on my Brickshelf page soon with more photos. And this is
what it should look like:

Hi Ken,
This is a pretty good rendition of the concept art. Youve captured the shape
very nicely but I cant help but feel the detailing is a little lacking. Because
it is such a boxy shape the details and decorations on the prototype really help
make it stand out. If it were my design Id probably add a bunch of printed
tiles and/or stickers to give it a really imperial look. Nice work.
Tim
PS. You might get more responses at the
Mechahub forums since a lot of mecha designers have migrated there.
