Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Marco Tagliaferri
(URL) A debate on Exo-Force> last year made me start with this one. After several small refinements it got finished during the Iron Mecha Contest. There was no time for pictures and posting. So now here it is: (2 URLs) Viper> Viper my idea what (...) (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Jas Nagra
Hi Marco, Firstly I'd like to say, way to go with that colour! Never would have thought that those two colours would work well on a mech, but they look great. Secondly, I really like how with fairly minimal piece usage, you have still captured a (...) (19 years ago, 3-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Marco Tagliaferri
(...) Hello Jas, the lime bricks were around for some time. Never found a good chance to use them. So when I started with Viper those lime, green and blay bricks were the only usefull around. I was surprised myself how it came out. (...) Thank you. (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Matthew Evans
(...) love the lime - great colour scheme. I think the 'arms' are too stubby - one like that might have been okay. Apart from that, the shape is nice - simple, in a good way. I would certainly buy this if it were an exo-force model! mo. (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Marco Tagliaferri
(...) Thanks Matthew, but it came out of occasion. I only had those colores left. (...) That's a really good idea. I give that a try. (...) I take this as a compliment! It never will become a set. It's just not playable. It breaks very easily. (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Matthew Evans
(...) It was meant to be a compliment! :) It's sad that it breaks easy though. I don't mean this to be a slur on yours (or anyones!) buiding techniques, but I haven't quite got my head round the idea of building models that don't stand up to playing (...)          Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Marco Tagliaferri
(...) Viper can be posed quite well without breaking. But a child would break it at¬ first grab. I have the same problems with some of my technic ball joints. They just don't ¬ grip as good as the others. Sometimes it helps to try another axle. I (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Mladen Pejic
(...) Nice job Marco! I really like the puke-green (as I call it) colour scheme! The octagonal cockpit windshield is also a nice touch and an homage to earlier LEGO Space themes. The weapon joint shouldn't be Bionicle ball-joints. LEGO is only using (...) (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Viper - an Exo-Force excercise —Marco Tagliaferri
(...) Danke Mladen. (I read something about German on your web page...) (...) It's a seldom used colour on Mecha. I'll try to use it more often in future. (URL) First the cockpit looked quite different>. But I didn't like it. Thought this windshield (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
