Alright, some of you out there saw this emch at NWbrickcon 05, but for the
rest of you, I finally got around to taking photos and posting. I was lucky
enough to win the prestigous and elusive Most Fluid Mecha award at the con
for this. Added note, thanks to Mark Neumann for the canopy shape inspiration
from his beautiful mech, the Hammer.
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=689907 Someone actually
commented on the canopy shape to me while at the con and Mark just happened
to be standing there with me and I was on the ball enough to give him credit
immediately. Thanks to all you mecha builders out there who have provided
inspiration.

That is awesome Nathan!
I just love the wild, almost cartoony look of it. Not that that is a bad thing.
Its just that it has very clean, smooth lines. The posable legs reinforce this.
The weapons are great as well. Im a huge fan of insanely massive missile racks.
I also like the use of those shallow arches; very novel! Oh, and the guns are
very nice as well. They look like they reciprocates back and forth, a la the
AT-ATs main cannons... Cool. :-)
Im not a big fan of mecha with glass canopies, but thats my own personal
preference. I still like how the glass conforms with the top armour.
Overall, this is an terrific mecha. 2006 is truly becoming the year of the
multiped mecha.
