Re: Builder's links that are text only?

I'd like to buy a vowel.;-) Klaupicus -> Klaupacius (Stanislaw Lem wouldn't be happy with a third mistranslation of his character's name from the original Polish.) BC (19 years ago, 21-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

awsome, thanks Marco! (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Builder's links that are text only?

(...) Marco you rock! Thank you. I'd suggest sorting by real name AND nickname though it complicates matters. I think maybe you and I need to talk offline..... (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Builder's links that are text only?

(...) Hi Eric, that was pretty quick! I'd suggest to bring (URL) Text Links> as intro page when clicking the Builders button. On this page I would give the link(s) to the pages with images. Just to reduce the loading time to a minimum. (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Great. Check out the new page! (URL) Builders Text Links> Thank you, just what we needed. :) e (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Builder's links that are text only?

(...) Hello Bryce, I'd like to have such an list too for quite a while! So here you are. This is the list according to todays imaged lists. I left the dividing lines between the actual pages. I don't claim any rights to the list source. Hopefully (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Builder's links that are text only?

(...) There used to be a complete version of this list available in text form, but it appears to have been modified at some point. I'll dig further if needed, but I highly doubt I have an accurate and up to date version of the list at this point. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: IRON MECHA - phase three "Yo!"

(...) Piercings and electrical current are a dangerous combination. ;-) I think you'll like the final production, though I was unable to sign on Kurt Russell as a cast member due to the expense. The role of "Snake" will be played by Emilio Estevez. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Builder's links that are text only?

Wasn't there supposed to be a text only list of builders? I vaugely remember when Eric changed the list to include all the pictures someone asked to have a second list that is text only. Am I just missing it? If not then can the curators either add (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: WIP update

(...) Insert comic-book guy's voice: "Best mecha-name ever". Although I think it needs a companion mech. The adventures of Thundersnatch and Lightningrod? Oh, and the mech is pretty decent too. -Keith (19 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

I like the use of plate skinning and the color scheme. Joint tech looks like a Bionicle/Throwbot hybrid. I thought about attaching the rear legs like that, then wondered how it would affect walking. But that setup may help it, like a grasshopper, (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: IRON MECHA - phase three "Yo!"

(...) JarJar hasn't been able to find any new roles. Maybe with some speech training... It's sad, really. K (19 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: IRON MECHA - phase three "Yo!"

(...) One of the Exoforce sets. They have heads with two facial expressions, angry, and psychotic maniac. A bit too intense. (...) My answer, in the form of dialogue. :-) "So have the writers settled on a name?" "Yes. How does this grab you? (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

I actually have some WIP Pics. The whole thing is still sketchy and not filled out. Detailing and such haven't even started. Oh well. Here goes... (3 URLs) See you in 2 weeks. (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: IRON MECHA - phase three "Yo!"

(...) Your running storyline always has me laughing. I preferred the 1st candadite for pilot, what set is that face from? I guess the goatee is just kinda creepy. Looking good so far- are you considering this your entry, or will you be doing an (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: WIP update

(...) I like the footless legs, definitely make me think they employ some sort of levitation technology when the thing moves. Yes, a hover mech. (The ground pounders know to cover their faces when it hovers by, since without skirts it kicks up a lot (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

Progress pic number 3. Not a lot has changed this time, although I finally came up with a nice shape for the missile pod/shoulder armour. Heels that actually support weight are nice too. I could only stand it on carpet before these chunky heels. (2 (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
