Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

Great articulation. Everything is wormed. It should be able to do some unusual poses that not even the one in the example picture could do, since its legs look like they just have the equivalent of a ball joint at the hip. I like how you did the (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Lego Exoforce

(...) Maybe not the tommy-gun, but in the other hand of both minifigs is a very modern looking pistol. Cheers, Paul. (19 years ago, 15-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  IRON MECHA - phase two

The first component of a gourmet mecha meal is realistic detail. The second component is... an appealing setting. They seem to be doing some work on it: (URL) cleaning the radiator gratings> Those seem to be different hull markings. I wonder why. (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Iron Mecha, Brickfrenzy style

(...) Man! thats so awesome! I wanted to make mine transformable too....I hope I don't look like a poser...lol (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Iron Mecha, Brickfrenzy style

(...) Is this all it does? I don't see a can opener. Actually, that's more than enough. Very impressive.:-) I was hoping someone would make something that transformed. This contest has a lot of good variety, from micro to non-military. I'm liking (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Iron Mecha, Brickfrenzy style

(...) I'd like to be the first to say this about the transformed model......... Nice groin gun!!! Yay! (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Iron Mecha, Brickfrenzy style

(...) Ahh, very clever fakes, Adrian! Now I'm looking forward to seeing your REAL mecha! JOHN :-) Okay, only kidding! This is fantastic, and also the idea what we had in mind for OUR version. (URL) Space!> (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Lego Exoforce

(...) I wouldn't exactly call Tommy Guns modern. They were obselete by the time WWII began. They are from around the same period as the Adventures guns so not really a new period at all. Tim (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Lego Exoforce

(...) Oops, I think that day arrives when the Batman sets debut in April. Have a look at what Two-Face's henchman is holding in this pic: (URL) And here's Killer Croc with the same: (URL) Cheers, Paul. (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

(...) Some more progress pics (after moderation): (URL) frame 1> (URL) frame 2> The black frame was hijacked for a future bipedal project, so I built this frame after an order of 20 worm gears came in from Pitsco. I've used 18 in this model so far. (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

(...) You got me thinking a lot about anti slop techniques after checking out your ankle joint on Teknomeka. I used to just chop up technic corrugated tubing to eliminate slop in worm gears...but Sophie would call that cheating...so I've decided to (...)   Re: Iron Mecha, Brickfrenzy style

(...) Wow! I this this is a very creative Iron Mecha creation. Maybe the only transforming entry? What a clever idea. Nice color scheme, too... BTW, curse you for the cockpit idea...I was going to do that! Now it would just look like I was ripping (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the Building Arena, IRON MECHA

  Re: New Moc: Boomslang

(...) Haha! Well, don't think that just because I don't reply to posts that I don't read them. I check LUGNET and Brickshelf every day. 90% of the mecha stuff that is posted I read and look at. So trust me, I have been following your work, and the (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Moc: Boomslang
