(...) I also made a prototype with knee worm gears, but I wanted to find at least one effective use for the AT-AT knees (my previous uses were... ineffective). Total worms = 4 legs + 2 shoulders = 6 K (19 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

It may be difficult to see how that came to be this but I swear they are almost identical structurally. I still don't know what to do about that weird pod thing on the left arm. What is it supposed to be anyway? Missiles? Some sort of claw? Sensor (...) (19 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
