Interesting Hip technique. I assume that the friction caused by the three plates and the 1/2 technic bushes would allow for posability especially where the hip would only be moving in the x-plane.

I like it.

My first attempt at a 'sketch' of sorts (experimenting with form & function only, not color): (3 URLs) Not sure yet if I'm overdoing the hip and underdoing the leg joints - this is only my second mech.
