Oh wow Jeff! What a terrific aircraft carrier! Or is it that ship from that old cartoon Starblazers!?!

Seriously though, I’m not sure I said so in person, but this thing is pretty cool looking, and well put together (rock solid). There’s some great use of snot to achieve shapes that’s subtle enough that people may not see it at all, and I think that’s the entire point of snot.

Started mid-2004 and not finished until hours before its debut at the National Air and Space Museum on April 16, I present to you my 1/275th scale Salamis Kai. An upgraded version of the original Salamis from the 0070s, this ship contains an added (...) (20 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, FTX) !!
