Great idea!
I think it could be helpfull to have a builders history in some way? I started
to build my own one in here. It needs some
dividing now. I think one page per year will do for the start.
The builders who like could maintain such a history page by themselves. You just
should give the rules for layout and so on. You - the curators - have the
knowledge I think.

My thumbnail links to my LUGNET pages where you can link to the posts that explain about the creations rather than going straight to Brickshelf, and or a Web Site (mine (...) (19 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
