Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Jeff Ranjo
If the hulk was a terminator... (URL) for a contest that is currently going on. Hands! It has hands!! Look! (URL) also has alot of articulation but had to lock down the knees for dynamic posing and to bear the weight. My favorite part is the back. I (...)         Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Allister McLaren
(...) Very nicely sculpted. What piece are the fingers made of? I never new that part existed, but now I've seen it I NEED to get some. By golly they'll be useful. Cheers, Allister (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Thanks Allister! Those parts come in the new Toa Hordika sets. The bummer though is that there is only one per!! Yikes! It's basically the head piece. The mask attaches to it. Jeff (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Kelly McKiernan
(...) Solid, as always. Love the use of the Toa Metru head piece as just... a head. Very menacing. Hope it's not in any contest I'm part of, or I just lost! Great use of the Pakari as chest pieces, too. Are those silver? Hard to tell with the (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Hey Kelly, Not many of the kids like the "naked" Metru head. Oh well. As for the silver pieces, the shoulders, chest, and feet are made from a mysterious grey with a greenish tinge. And there aren't any lilac pieces from the Jango set. Just (...) (19 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Kelly McKiernan
(...) Yeah, they're probably just not used to seeing the Metru head without a Kanohi. I personally think the fierce look is very appropriate for the bulk of Herakles. (...) Interesting - I guess it was the background that was deceiving my eyes. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Allister McLaren
(...) Yeah, although he does look a bit like he's puckering up for a smooch. Or to suck your brains out through your nose. (19 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Christopher Snead
(...) Just say no to steroids... This is another fine example of Ranjo Bionicle engineering. The hands rule - maybe the best Bionicle hands I've seen yet. The hoses also give a very mechanorganic feel to the model. If Lego made Bionicle sets like (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Thanks Chris! Yeah those hands are good, but they only work for larger scale stuff. I wish there was another part other than guns and minifig hands that we bioniclers could use for fingers. Hey Chris, do you still have the same e-mail (...)         Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Mark Neumann
(...) Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! It's a beaut Jeff. Big and beefy, just like you. It's got the musclebound idot look, just like.... I can't speak much more than what the others said, the hands are primo. The one piece head nestles in there nicely. (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Hey waitaminute...!!! (...) Yeah the side view of the head looks pretty silly. I tried to add more greeblage in there but it became ugly. More is less. Yeah. (...) Thanks brother Mark. Maybe I'll make a Terminator-type gun on steroids for him (...) (19 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie —David Koudys
(...) Absolutely fantastic! I agree with whateveryone else in the thread said. But whatreally caught my eye is the use of the elastic band holders on the arms--very nicely done! Dave K (19 years ago, 16-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
