Hello friends,

We’ve sort of been keeping this under our hats, but now that I just got my “Brickmasters” magazine in the mail I can’t hold it in any longer. The Mecha Hall of Fame is a centerfold!

A small selection of mechs from the LMHoF were selected to form a center fold focus on “Mecha Masters” in LEGO Brickmasters magazine. Not all of our members could be picked for the centerfold and many were given to LEGO from the Hall for this display. Congrats to those that were picked for the magazine.

Highlighted artists (and their works) were (in no particular order):

Christopher Snead *Aldebaran

*Andromeda

*Cepheus

Eric Sophie *The Skrylitch

*The RG Mech

*The Rizmit

Mark Neumann *Hammer

David Thomas Jr. *LM-001

Brian Cooper *MS-02

We’re all pretty pumped that we got this opportunity to show off the hall and get the exposure in the new LEGO “Brickmasters” magazine. Hope you all get a chance to see it!

Mark Neumann LMHoF, founder

(...) snip Mark, congrats to you and the other featured mech builders! If the photo spread appears on-line anywhere, would you post a link here? I don't get the magazine, but I'd love to see the layout. Thanks! (20 years ago, 21-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) snippity snip (...) Hey Mark, Congrats to all of you guys that were featured in the article. It was pretty awesome seeing all the mechs in a double-wide fold out. Rad! Question: Did you guys have to bring your MOCs somewhere to be photographed (...) (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I found a low res preview of this magazine (looks like it uses Flash): (URL) to pages 18-19 and 20-21. Nice. :-) My MS-02 from about four years ago looks so ancient! I'm working on MS-11 now and I can't think of one structural design that I've (...) (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
