Hey all, just wanted to share and get feedback from everyone about this
quadraped.

enter the Sabermech Series:
this is Cartesian V1

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/poetryinmotion/Sabermech/dsc01610.jpg

in a seated position.
i got inspiration from a small picture of a sabertooth tiger i saw in the latest
lego magazine.  i believe it was made out of the prehistoric creatures set.  i
had to make one after i saw that.

in terms of biomechanics i studied sabertooth tiger pictures of its poses,
skeletal structure and even muscles.  just a simple google search did fine.

i drew many different heads, and finally the body. and it definitely came out
very similar to my initial drawing.  i'll post the pic of that in a bit.

well.. theres 4 other pix of This sabermech on my brickshelf,
the first is a lying down..pensive position, the next in attack and the third
and 4th seated.

I like it, sort of reminds me of the original Power Ranger's zord, only 10x better. The color scheme is nice also, good job. (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I like it. In fact, I voted for it for best medium mecha. Good stuff. -Dan Rubin (20 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Nice. Looks agressively feline (yes, that's a good thing). My only suggestion is that you turn the tip pieces on the paws and make them less round and... tame-looking. -Joseph (20 years ago, 20-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
