    Gundam-K6 —Brayton Orchard
Here she is. My first attempt at a Gundam. (URL) I'm not completely happy with it yet. The arms look like they were thrown together in 15 minutes......which they were. It is also nearly impossible to get the thing to stand up. The ankles are pretty (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Eric Sophie
(...) -snip- Brayton, this is stunningly beautiful. The look and feel is Gundam. No doubt. The feet are superb. The legs look great, although, I don't see much knee bend. It still looks stellar. The chest is cool as is the head. Very cool. The arms (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Gundam-K6 —Brayton Orchard
(...) Eric, thanks for your reply. The knees do bend to just about parallel with the floor.(I think you can see the click hinge in one of the rear pictures.) I agree that the hands don't fit. Do you know of anything just slightly larger than what I (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Chris Maddison
(...) Brayton, stunning moc for a first try. Much better than my first (and only) try at a Gundam style moc ((URL) Zion>). I like everything about it, except it looks as if it's been built in two or three different scales. Lemme explain. The legs (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Gundam-K6 —Brayton Orchard
(...) Thanks Chris. I think the torso might look out of proportion because I took the pics at a downward angle. I'll have to get more pics up to give a better idea of the size. I guess a lot of proportion is just personal preference. -Brayton (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Soren Roberts
(...) Ooooh nice. I like the legs too, very well made. I agree with Chris, the whole thing doesn't really gel, but the individual parts are great. New arms would help, I think. All in all great job! Soren (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Gundam-K6 —Brayton Orchard
(...) Thank you Soren. I tried to make this thing completely studless. I think it looks so much better when it's smooth. I doubt I'll ever make anything with studs on it again. -Brayton (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Frank Kopanitsanos
(...) Well, this is definately one of the better gundam models i have seen. I really like torso and all the crazy angles you included in it, as well as the beautiful studless design. The hips and legs are downright awesome. As a person who generally (...) (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Brayton Orchard
Here are some slightly better pics. I completely redid the arms and beefed up the ankle joint, but I'm still stuck on the hands. This model is the perfect size to keep any hand I've seen from being proportionally correct. (2 URLs) Enjoy. -Brayton (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Chris Maddison
(...) Now that's pretty. Great job on the arms, this version is perfect. And it's amazing how changing the arms makes the torso come into proportion. Everything looks nice there. The ankles are very good, but maybe the feet could be widened by a (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Gundam-K6 —Joseph Sibilia-Young
(...) Try using the ones Cris suggested, they look like your best bet. (...) Dang.I'm really impressed with the design, color scheme, smoothness, size...everything. -Joseph (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
