I've gotten pretty frustrated trying to import files into 3DSMax.  dat2dxf
works but my models end up having over 70,000 polygons (in at least one
case) and become to cumbersome to work with.
Blick.  Have you run into similar problems?  (Follow-ups to legnet.cad)

from being complete).  The idea is to be able to create instructions
that look a lot nicer than ldraw.  I've got about half the instructions
done for the mini-fig tie fighter, and I plan to do all the Virtual On
mechs.
