Er, um, I believe it was Nagano, not Nagoya.  Nagoya is about 125 miles away
from Nagano City, which takes about 3+ to travel by train (Ironically, it takes
only about 1 hour to travel a similar distance from Tokyo because they installed
a new bullet train just for Olympics-related travel).

As for the snow tie-in, I've got a friend who's in the JET program near Kyoto,
and while he says the winter hasn't been as bad as it is in Western Michigan, he
has been mentioning snow quite a bit in his corresponance.  Given that the
country is mostly mountains, I'm guessing snow is an integral part of their
lifestyle, either as a source of enjoyment or lack thereof.  The MOC might be
white as a result of the snow tie-in rather than as the cause of it.

I often nose around BrickLink looking at new folders, and I often go "up" to see what else is in there. (do you? Does anyone else?) check this out!!!!!
