Um, I have seen several threads of interchange here and elsewhere and you are TOTALLY egging him on, you shameless flirt (I mean that in a good way!)...

Thanks for the compliment, I try. ;)

I’ve sent a query to Dave J about this now.

Larry, I just wanted to say that my post was intended as a joke.

Mine too, obviously. (at least I THOUGHT it was obvious!.. maybe not)

It was very obvious to me and much appreciated as all humor always is.

I obviously was unaware of the current situation and my post was really more in reply to Eric’s original post which just said, “Dave?”.

I don’t really think there’s any “situation” per se.

By situation I was referring more to my lack of understanding of any matters regarding curatorship’s, nothing more.

It’s natural that curatorship time and interest wax and wane, as with all things related to the hobby, or life in general, and thus it’s natural that there be changes. I think co-curatorship is an excellent way to go where both parties agree, as it allows for a smoother transition.

I’m all for smooth transitions, anything that encourages those has my support.

I have absolutely no reason to request that Eric not be given co->>curatorship of the .Mecha forum. The issue does not involve me at all and my post was inappropriate. I have requested that it be cancelled.

I’ll cancel it for you if you really really like (mail me or Frank or Todd offline to request the cancel) but I just don’t see it as anything more than harmless banter (which is why I replied as I did). So I would not worry and >I don’t think an apology is needed.

Agreed, apology retracted.

Sorry (back) if you took my banter back as anything other than just that, banter.

Now please take your sorry (back) back as we have no need for apologies.

Hope that helps clear things up, appy-polly-logies for any misunderstanding.
Is anything ever really clear? Appy-unapolly-ologies for having fun. :)

Dawn
