Thank you all for the replies and enthusiasm(s)! As for some of the questions -
I did make some weaponry for this mech, but scrapped it in favor of beginning
another project some time ago and never revisited that. When I get around to
completing a few of my newer projects I'm going to have a photo session and at
the same time possibly re-photograph this one with some accessories, plus I need
to modify the hip joint area to get more standing stability, which will enable
it to remain in more poses unassisted. I've had a problem trying to get the ball
joints in the hip to hold the upper body's weight without allowing the legs to
splay so easily (any suggestions for adding greater friction to the
technic/bionicle ball joints?). That's mainly why I haven't shown more
adventurous poses, despite the fact that this mech is actually highly
articulating. As for the clunky skirt armour - it's probably a matter of taste.
I actually really like the heft of it in this case - I wanted to avoid using
plates in favor of something more visually substantial and studless - and the
width of the torso and shoulders needed a visual balance in the mid section
below the waist to avoid that anemic vibe. I've always tended towards those
proportions...

I'm looking forward to debuting some new projects soon - thanks for the warm
welcome all!! Please feel free to email me any time with questions, comments,
links, etc.

Regards,
