(...) but I never get a message. So I was just wondering... Tony, go to Hankinson in the Brickshelf last name lookup, and then look at his mecha. I love your little hoverboard! ~Evan Butzlaff (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  new mecha

greetings, fellow mech-ers. sorry it's been so long since i made another mecha. i wasn't sure if i could top gunjin. i pretty much thought that was a fluke or a stroke of luck. nevertheless, i have completed my next one. i should have the full-blown (...)   Field Dog?

Hi. I'm really new to mechs. I was wondering... Does anyone have LDraw or MLCad of the Field Dog mech? I love it, and I was looking for a design to base off of for light-support in Brikwars... ~Evan Butzlaff (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

show thyself, oh great one! we have been waiting for thee to bestow upon us your great lego wisdom! how did he use those technic small gears for the shoulders? does anyone see a worm gear there? glad to see someone is still using minifig arms, (...)   Re: Gla Gla does it again!

That is incredible. The articulation and the use of TECHNIC joints in the kness and the waist is great. I looks like Gla Gla has been experimenting with new joint technologies. I like that he has shown building pics and cross sections this time! I (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I dunno, CV has a nasty habit of digesting small dogs and the dogs in the other end of the leash screams in such high-pitched voices it gives me a headache every time...   Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

Alright! good stuff, more quadra-ped mecha. Oh oh, look at the parts you used for the Neck! Very cool! Check out the Head. Pretty neat. Effective tail design. I like the colors too. Check out the way you did the lower legs, neat how you used those (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Tw0nCo ICU FireMech 1.0 Prototype

(...) Thanks for your ideas and kind comments! Yeah, it's not a finished look just yet. I'm hoping to rebuild with a color scheme as you suggested; just haven't sifted through everything yet to find it all. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: That's it, my mind is gone (New Mech)

(...) And hungry! Truly a work of art-- if only I had the colour sense, the ingenuity, or the creativity! One of the top 5 great mechs of the year for sure, and it's only March! Adrian, you are BRILLIANT! and I'm so jealous! stuart (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Torment - my newerest mecha

Wow, Bryce! It's so organic, it almost defies any traditional take on lego construction. I'd be inspired... if only I knew where to start!! You've really taken the Bionicle genre (not to mention mecha, sculpture, space...) to new heights with this (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: That's it, my mind is gone (New Mech)

Holy. Fricken. Molley. I get confused just looking at it...in a good way of course :) I can't get over the engineering in this beast....you really have outdone yourself in technical merit Adrian. Awesome. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

(...) Thanks! I considered the legs and though they feel a little spinky they are four and as such I thought they did not be so big since they kind of share the load in strenght situations. It made more sense to keep the mech kind of slim and thus (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

Glad I took a sick day! (gad, gone for a few days and I miss so much) This is pretty darn cool. The thighs are a bit small but it blends right into the body so I didn't notice. The feet seemed really narrow to me, but is cool. Head is big and flat (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Tw0nCo ICU FireMech 1.0 Prototype

Mmm. The color scheme is wild, but the design is good. You definently have a good mech-ish feel around it. Now just try building it with one or two colors. It might be hard to find all the parts needed, but trust me, the great design of this mech (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
