(...) Yes! Pimpalicious is exactly what I was going for!! :-D What did you use for the shoulder? (...) Which part do you mean? The dark grey shoulder pad? It's from the Nepol and Shimmel set methinks. (URL) little hat for Shimmel is the piece. It (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minotaur

(...) You are definetly the best at making reversed kneed mechs especially those reminiscient of mechwarrior/battlemech. I like the take on the Minotaur. That's one of my favorite episode of the old batman cartoon's Maze of the Minotaur. Too bad (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

You had better be bringing that thing to Brickfest!!! After seeing your pics and reading Eric Sophie's response, I'm on the floor laughing so hard I'm crying over here! Scott (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Delurk and three MOCs

Very cool stuff. The mech is kinda Heavy-Gear-ish, and I like it. Gotta disagree with Eric on the legs, I think they look good bulked up like that. That truck is nifty too; it should be even cooler with the gun attached. I like your style, it's very (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Minotaur

(...) Oops, too obscure a Simpsons quote. Guess I should've typed that in a German accent ala Ranier Wulfcastle :) BTW, the goggles are pretty cool. I hadn't even noticed them when I typed that. -jeremiah- (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Head idea

(...) Tony, Yes, do continue with the rest of it. I think that design is neat. You could even make the centers of those dishes the eyes (don't know if you thought about that yet), thus making that protruding section the "nose". I look forward to the (...)   Head idea

I was goofing with a smaller powersuit body and came up with this instead. What do you think? Should I build the rest of the mech? (URL) is also a new version of the gla gla hand in dat form. t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Delurk and three MOCs

Tip #1 Some pictures are too large. That is a HUGE pet peve (sp?) of mine! Any picture should be no larger then 800 x 600 pixels and that is the maximum. You should keep most models pics below that! Tip #2 well I have no more, just the first. :) (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: First attempt at mecha

Alright a new mecher! So do you plan on making more mechs? What kinds of mechs do you prefer, Mech Warrior style or Gundam-ish style? Cool stuff! t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: leg building instructions redux

It's always good to see someone refine their own work and make it that much better! Oh BTW now I know what parts you were talking about! The peeron links you sent me had no pics and I never replied to you 'cause I am too lazy :) t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MPM-CRT1

(...) the base unit. Very nice. The mecha thing looks like some kind of spiney, drive around the sand dunes sort of thing. I sort of got more into the baseplate honestly. Snow Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minotaur

(...) Thanks. yeah, the ankles are a bit thin, too much armor on the foot though makes it look chunky. I got the revised instructions up, you should try something. ;D (URL) Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  leg building instructions redux

I refined the design a bit, and also came up with a less parts intensive, more technic design. (check out angelus to see that in action) Also seen is the stronger middle member design. See them here (when moderated) (URL) Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: That's it, my mind is gone (New Mech)

(...) Not being a follower of the mech group I thought this was simply a turkey out of Technic. I chuckled a bit then clicked on a second pic - when I realized there were missiles coming out of the chest. I almost fell out of my chair with laughter. (...)
