  Re: Inspiration and eye candy

To tell you the truth, the only things I go by when I'm building 4+ legged "beasts" is the shape of the bricks and how they interact with each other to form cool joints and shapes (a good example is my "Gorilla"). And it's also because I have a (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Well, since I get up at 11:00, my days are kind of short :) I was able to build and LDraw a model by about 4:00 today, but after that I didn't (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thanks Bram. Actually it is quite sturdy, I can even position it in various (okay, limited...) poses, but FYI, yes it does stand by itself. Actually... yes I do spend all day building my models, but by know I can build a model in MLCad, Raytrace it, (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Inspiration and eye candy

After being aware of the quality and originality of design of SF3D models (and others) for a while I have begun to compile a list of some of my favorite eyecandy. Some of the four legged walkers look a lot like some of Mladen's stuff, i wonder if he (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) No, thank YOU. :-, (...) Not much, I'm afraid. I'm pretty tied up with work and household duties. Not to mention that my only available Lego at the moment is in a tiny Tupperware tub sitting on my desk. However, having said that...I do have (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Most Inspiring Anime/Manga Poll

Actually, there are very few Gundam that transform. Offhand, I can only think of a few... -Wing/Wing0 -Epyon -Zeta/DoubleZeta maybe a couple others. The bright colors are a bit Power-Rangerish, however. That's why I usually paint my Gundam models in (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Seems to me that the only craft that are heavily ornamental would be the super powerful mobile suits, say for instance the Gundams or Tallgeese (sheesh...did I spell that right?). Congrats Mladen! With the amount and quality of stuff you build, you certainly deserve CLSOTW. It's great that you decided that POV-Ray wasn't so bad after all :) --Bram (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Are those Technic piston guides on the tank barrels? If so, tat may be the coolest use for those pieces that I've ever seen! I love your use of pieces to disguise other pieces. Great job. I'll be adding this to my links page.... -Dave (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
