  Re: Strikedog Mecha

(...) Thanks. Actually most of my mechs have space for minifigs, the notable exceptions being, the RX-78, eva, neptune and escala. I never showed a lot of the hatches on them, I guess I should. (...) I've heard about the reveal bulbs, have yet to (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Strikedog Mecha

(...) I concur. Very neat articulation in such a small model. (...) It looks like ball joints in the ankles, shoulders and hips. They're such great parts those ball joints. I really like how they're nice and hidden without apparently limiting (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mechastruct Entry: CRM-22 Enforcer

(URL) 2 entry) this little (relative term) fellow has been brewing for weeks, my thanks and apreciation go out to all the mech-heads for inspiring me, to Gla-Gla, for his armature, from which I "borrowed" the joint technology, and my friend Kyle, (...)   Re: Strikedog Mecha

Dude! That is a neat little mecha. I love all the articulation- it's really hard to get good articulation so small. How did you do the ankles? I'd love to know how to get ankles that move in both directions. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mechastruct Entry: AMX-22 Sentry

Hey All- I promise I'll stop soon, this is the big one ;) I seem to have hit a build binge lately, and I scrapped a few old things and came up with an idea for usingball joints, and voila! A new mecha. Anyway, I'll stop with this, unless another (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Strikedog Mecha

Nice! I was wondering if you were going to post this here. I saw it on the dx the day you posted it, the 29th I think. I like the articulation and it holds a minifig, I haven't seen any of your other mecha with minifigs in them. As for the pictures, (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Strikedog Mecha

This model was basically a little excercise to make a mecha which had the same articulation as my other models. Just a lot shorter, smaller and thus easier to mass produce. :) Excuse the poor quality of the photos, Boston is not as sunny as (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

MOC: Maxi Powered Suit - QBK-01

Hi all, I'd like to present a little Mecha I built last week. It's my atempt at a powered suit, but as it so often goes it grew slightly from it's original concept and is almost a mecha (where is the distinction drawn between the two exactly?). It's (...) (...) Hey, I'm sorry I was waaay late in replying to this, since I hadn't seen the reply, but I'd like it entered in the Military/Combat-Oriented Mechs/Mechas Over 8" Tall category. Thanks! Curt Tigges Home: www.commandercurt.net Lego: (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mechastruct Entry: "Rin Tin Tin Din Din" Quadraped Mecha

Woah, quite a feline you got there Eric. ;-) I really like this model, yep sure do... Here's a couple reasons why: cool use of light-blue canopies/windows, good articulation, nice form. It's models like these that make me want to just plain 'ol (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mechastruct Entry: "Rin Tin Tin Din Din" Quadraped Mecha

Eric, I love this. As always you make some of the coolest stuff. I like the mass transit look of the lower bay. (tight fit but looks mega cool.) So when is the transforming zoid version coming? ;) Any chance for instruction on this one, I'd love to (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
