Re: new renders of LM-002 Fatalle

(...) These are really great renders, they came out looking like sketches or paintings (or cartoons, actually), which really rocks. Can you talk about how you did them? Pov? MegaPOV? Bryce? Something else? And did you do any post processing? Thanks! (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Jamocklaquat - Mission Three and Four Completed -

Hi James, The final design will Walk. Though it will not be Bipedal I'm afraid. I have a few ideas brewing around multiple legs. At first I wanted a bipedal necha but the lack of gyro tech concludes the thought. Multiple legs will be the solution. (...) They seem to do all of the horizontal movement. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Since my website was taken down by my ISP a couple months ago due to too much bandwidth, I've started a brickshelf account to post my mocs. I've got some new stuff, but all that's up there right now are the cad images I've created of the LM-002 (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Will you eventually add legs? Will the legs be fixed or will they have motors in them as well? Don't tell me you plan on giving it the ability to walk?!? Stuff (URL) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) Thanks Gil! I wouldn't say I'm a better mech builder then you... that Vox Biomech was really cool. But the head of this mech did start out as a spaceship! :) -JHK (22 years ago, 14-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Looks like a good start to me, John. Definately has explorations leanings. Your a better builder than I....every time I try building a mech it just eventually morphs into a ship :) Good on ye for branching out... Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
