  Re: Three New MOCs!

(...) approach; very ingenious. And all the different and contrasting shapes make for an interesting overall design. The red pod fins look a bit out of place, but that's just me. Love the rear spoiler. :-) Overall, this is the best hovertank I've (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Matt, so glad you liked it. Yes, the saucers are anti-gravity drives, and the red unit in the back is a heat sink. (...) Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Three New MOCs!

(...) Yup, definitely a departure from the conventional "tank" design! The Mammoth is very obviously born for battle. Great idea MP, I really dig the repulsorlift saucers (I'm assuming that's what they are...either way they're cool). The aft red (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Three New MOCs!

Hi all, I've been wanting to build a hovertank ever since the beginning of this year. For me, hovertanks are one of the most interesting land warfare vehicles to design. Setting about to make my tank look futuristic, and aggressive, I disposed of (...) (...) Thanks Eric! I am glad that you like it. I can't wait to see your comments on my next Eva because when finished, it will be the most bizzare MS I have ever built (oh yeah, and it is going to have a big axe also). (...) Yep! OMG! Dude!!! Professor Snead strikes again! WOW WOW WOW! Shuuwweeet!! Ok, where to begin? Notable Sneadified Mecha points: The Head: Very Snead. I like the flat and rounded contours of the head.   Re: Evangelion Unit 14 Version 2.0 FireSkull

Cool, As before I like all the shapes, the spine is so cool, really excellent. Legs and knees looking cool too! Hey nice Axes.   Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

(...) Thanks for the kind words and encouragement! I was hoping you would approve of the final product; after sitting with the model in my room for a couple of months, I beging to grow weary of it.   Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

(...) Thanks, Chris! I tried using other kinds of feet for this mecha, but as it turns out, the bevels and overall shape of the foot help this mecha achieve more realistic poses than the brick versions, so I went with them. "product line" (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

(...) Thanks, Geordan! I'm just trying to keep up with you and Mladen, with the studless mecha look. I probably would have made this mecha completely studless if Lego came out with 2x3 tiles... (...) Thanks again! Can't wait for your next mecha! (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

(...) Thanks, Mladen! I'm glad you like it. This mecha doesn't have a skirt because its thighs are so big, and because I've always admired your "skirt free" designs! (...)   Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

Well, Chris, after waiting forever with only those "sketchy" teasers to satisfy me, I must say that finally seeing this mecha it did not meet my expectations. No chris, it EXCEDED them! I can's believe it! That creation is just amazing. Now that I (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase mecha recharge bay module

xp to .mecha Trevor, that's pretty cool! I like the color scheme and all the little details, like the overhead beam-structure-things and the little spacemen hard at work. The mech is killer too - love how you used that cockpit. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

Chris, this is just stellar. I really dig the spiney lower torso and the hips. And your use of the Bionicle feet really works well with this mecha. I also agree with Mladen; I like how you keep features consistent with your mecha. Not only is it (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

Chris this is awesome!! the articulation is fantastic as always, such awesome poses you have there. you used the super battle droid parts so well.   Re: New joint technology, and a new mecha

Chris, this is one of your best mecha yet. The articulation, as always, is nothing short of stellar (well, IMHO anyway). Design wise, I really love the legs, spine, and shoulders. You even sneaked missiles into the hips; you're finally adding (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
