| (...) My understanding they mean the same thing, the usage depends on the story context. In Patlabor, the mechs are actually called 'labors' (Patlabor is short for 'Patrol Labor'). | OK, you builders of mecha. I'm the first to admit I know nothing about them, but I was just wanting to appease my enquiring mind. | Ok, here's what I came up with. It's a three finger claw deal, offshoot tech from the Super Mech-Bot. I like it. Dual z24 single Worm Gear drive in the center of the hand acuates the fingers.
