  Re: LYB (ankle pivot)

  Re: New Mech, Beast

Ya, Combined with the utility Power suit/mech/device. Heh Jeep! 'excuszie, gota (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mech, Beast

(URL) here's a general purpose mech. That means a grunt's mech. Sort of like the jeep. It's meant to do it all, from construction duty to front line combat duty. Cheap to build, durable, very transportable, rugged. Beast actually got its name from (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gla Gla's Patlabor

(...) The radar dish isn't chrome - it's gold. One of C3P0's eyes from the technic set. (...) The model doesn't look terribly big. At that scale, ball joints should be okay for standing. It looks like he used the Throwbot ball joints, which are of a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gla Gla's Patlabor

(...) That's putting it mildly! This is a stunning piece of work! Just drop dead, fall-on-the-floor admirable! It would be one thing to make it, but then at this scale, and with such detail, and such accuracy, and such poseability! OMG! I can't (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gla Gla's Patlabor

OOOOH!!! That gets my mecha juices flowing!! I love the head and the legs. I want to know where he(?) got that chrome radar dish. Is that model all ball joints? I wonder how it can pose with just ball joints...I've tried them and they are too weak (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LYB

LYB, SBB, LBB, BYOB, OPP, POP, DUI, MIP, VIP.....ya sorry I'm done now!!! Eric that is cool how you can make those color coded bots, but what about the color blind? Just kidding. I like the old smiley face bricks on the side, looks like graffiti!! (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gla Gla's Patlabor

(...) Yes, it's an excellent model. I love how he has created the suggestion of shapes where bricks won't allow enough actual detail. The revolver is obviously just a couple parts, but your mind wants to fill in the details. It's very well done. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
