  Re: Sprite Light Mech

(...) I must say, I wish I could have that much fun when I get sick...I usually just want to sleep for about twenty hours straight! Anyway, the mech - I really like what I've been seeing from you lately. This mech is small elegant, and quite (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Sprite Light Mech

I've been having too much fun lately. Maybe being sick wasn't so bad after all... Got to do what I can to get better don't cha know. (URL) Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Swarm Warriors.

(...) Thanks! :) I was thinking bug/ninja/"thing" for a theme. A hand-to-hand weapon? Isn't its fist one? I suppose I could try making one for it... That was going to come next. There would be different colors depending on what Queen they belonged (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another BrikWars Mech

Cool! You managed to use two rather difficult pieces together to make a really cool looking torso. The canopy with the "18" is perfect. The mech's got birthing hips but it balaces out nicely with the upper body. Making kind of a figure eight shape. (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Nosrai light mecha

Not bad, not bad. I like the hatches. The head piece especially. Everything looks like it would seal up nicely too. legs and feet are pretty darn cool as well. What I think needs work, is the shoulders. A little too square for my tastes. You know? (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Swarm Warriors.

Don't know what to say except that you've done a really good looking mecha. My first impression was, "cool! Ninja." I think the only suggestion I can add is do a hth weapon. Like a sword. Also, what might be interesting is seeing variations of color (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Another BrikWars Mech

Okay here's number two. It's a medium-sized rocket Mech for an upcoming BrikWars game. It has two banks of 4 MkII missiles and two sets of 2 MkII lasers. With extra armor (if I've done the math right) bears it out at 180CP (sans the pilot). Anyway, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brand-new mechs from yours truly!!!

Someone else said it, and I'll echo it. This is going to be a very good year for mecha. I like the big grey guy. Big, beefy looking, hung 8'0 Great job. All I can say is keep building, and see what works for you. Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DR-8CO the flying mech

I know. Got to figure out some kind of small feet/hands. Once I do, look for another dragon mecha. Thanks for the feedback Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brand-new mechs from yours truly!!!

Glad you like my mechs. Yes, the gray one was influenced by the Zaku, but actually was originally a copy of a Heavy Gear mech I saw; it sort of evolved into what you see now as the result of a couple of overhauls. The Blitzkrieg was actually the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brand-new mechs from yours truly!!!

Thanks Eric! Perhaps the reason you see many different techniques from different builders in my MOCs is because I SHAMELESSLY RIPPED THEM OFF BECAUSE I HAVE NO GOOD IDEAS OF MY OWN!!!!!!! (not really). Seriously though, I'm glad you like my models, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brand-new mechs from yours truly!!!

(...) You're welcome, Stuart! (...) Wow, I really don't know. Thanks for all the compliments! (...) Well, it certainly isn't obvious from the pics, but I made the wings swing back instead of into the mech on purpose to counterbalance the heavy (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Qwilljox

Thanks Stuart! It's scale is just a notch up from LBB. When I first made the legs I turned the gears until the bot crouched down and looked like it was sitting. I grabed the camera to catch it in that pose before it fell over! The head was the (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Qwilljox

Yes! YES! YES! I love it! Excellent! Now where did I put those Skeleton figs! I gotta go out behind my house or up to the Trails on the mountain and get a shot of Qwilljox from behind clawing at the lower part of a cliff face. Cool, very cool. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Qwilljox

Thanks cousin Mladen! I was hopeing to add somthing to the shoulder area to help "hide" or "tuck" the head more closer to the body. I know it seems a little big. The arms help to at least detract from is big pea pod looking head. Ya, retractable (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Qwilljox

Thanks Mark! I can see the Mech now: "Mammmy, Mammmy, oh Mammmy......." Dude(s) the Qwilljox does have teeth! look!: (URL) so it only has two little nubs. But look it has two of those 1x1 w/clip holder in it's jaws. I kept the front of the mouth (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Qwilljox

Ya, now that you say it that this is what GG would look like when it hatches is such a cool thought. According to my beloved writer; GG being only a few thousand years old, it would certainly have time to change, molt and grow into the beast known (...)   Re: The Qwilljox

Chris Thanks! It does have two small teeth. (URL) kept the front of the mouth free of teeth because it interfeered with the mouth closing all the way. But maybe I should forego the mouth closing shut and add a couple more to the front of the jaw. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
