(...) Thanks. (...) no problem. just poor posing, though I prefer a slightlly forward leaning stance. another problem is the angle I took the pics at which I think acentuates (sp?) the apearent lean. (...) John (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) I am saving up for a digital camera. My current camera is a very old SLR 35mm. That is part of the problem. There is a lot of dirt inside the camera and the lense is getting foggy so things aren't alway in focus. (...) I haven't tried (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) Thanks. My goal was to make a mecha that didn't look sci-fi but rather castle like. I am very happy with the shoulders, torso and head. the arms and legs are a little skinny but I'm not unhappy with them. The structure legs, which I am very (...)   Re: Truk Squad, New MOC mech armor

These are great! I really love it when people go to the trouble of not only making one swell mech, but using one as inspiration for a series. The slight variations make this an awesome trio to behold. My fave is #3 with the blades on the hands-- (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Dude these rock! oh man, look at the lil pod things on either side of the canopy, oh the canopies open, ah I like that! oh, look at the arm stuff and the details on the sides! Neat-o fer sure. Hmmm, these are great, different mods too! Man you are (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

It comes from the trike and the shuttle if I'm not mistaken. Mark (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I heard that was what they did to actually make the Kingdome implode. Not explosives but big robots battling it out. Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I dedicate this picture to....

I'm also fairly certain that 2 x 2 round tile comes in the T-3 Trike set. I have one of those, but not one of the shuttle sets, so I'm certain that's where I got it from. -Dave (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I call em Truks, I think you'll see why. (URL) in teams of three and able to mount a variety of aresenal make these search and destroy mechs terrors in most urban environments. Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) The arms and ankles seem a bit skinny, however... like they'd break if another mecha whacked them. I don't recommend 1-wide limbs unless you're building something small. Overall a cool idea and execution. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

Nice Mecha! I like the idea of the fantasy mecha and I think you've done well here. I wonder, is there some problem with the joints, all the pics look like it's bending over slightly. (In one picture it looks like your mecha is doing batting (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) I'm wondering, are you using a digital camera to take your photos, or are you scanning photographs? I've noticed with a lot of the pics of your mecha, the images are very yellow and dim, making it a difficult task to discern the detail. It (...)   Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

John, I like the sholders, the head is neat, the waist is cool, the way you made that pack on the back is really cool, oh look the legs seem like they have "high waters"....what I really dig is that the legs move out and the ankles pivot to go along (...)
