In lugnet.build.military, Mark Neumann writes: Thanks for the compliments Mark! (...) Go for it! :-D Eh, maybe later. :-( Looks hard. Well, I wouldn't say hard, you just have to have everything you want in mind before you build it, cuz it becomes a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Hey that looks really good, it looks like it has awesome poseabillity, and I like the weapons. The hat is somewhat a neat touch, if a bit silly, the shoulder are cool, and they have neat little weapons in them too, awesome, The arms really need to (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Nice work Joel. The legs, ankles, and feet are very well done. They fit together nicely. The hat makes the mecha look whimsical. I'll need a while to warm up to it. Did you stiffen the plate hinges on the arms or do they hold up all that weight? (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Diorama

Great job! Making me want to try it. Eh, maybe later. Looks hard. I'm curious though, what's the story? Or is there one? (I'm just wondering what your story was...BTW) But really this is absoultely gorgeous. Shame you couldn't save it and expand (...)   Re: new MOC: Pulse

Looking good man. What'd be cool if you can get a movie of these guys fighting like in the game. What I like about the Mecha is that this is a good exercise in how a mecha can look humanoid with out looking human to work. This guy looks bare bones. (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

I particuarily like the right handed weapon. The arms look a little funny. I'd beef up the biceps, time to *pump up!* The hat is cute. Silly even. I love it. Brilliant idea, need work on the execution. What I'd consider doing different is adding a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Gosh, I think it's a shame that you tear it down (figuratively) at the same time you announce it-- makes any compliments I have sound insincere. The truth is: I rather like it. A sEric states, there are a lot of interesting pieces in the model, and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey hey, check this out, oh man look at all those cool black pcs.! Drool! Cool look at the shoulders! That 4x4 inverted slope/corner slope Balck part in the chest is the coolest! Arrgg! all those cool black pcs.! Look at the head! Oh Man! Hat and a (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) ehh.. one of the only good things about it.. :-D (...) I know.. *grrrunt* I always notice how bad these things look right after I post them.. sorry, the arms are.. okay, now I am frusterated at myself.. ;-) (...) hmm.. well, yeah, I'll have to (...)   Re: New Diorama

(...) Haha! I was going to use the exact same example! But I wasn't sure of some of my facts, since it's been a while since I saw it, so I decided to leave it out all together. That was a great movie, and alot of the inspiration for this model came (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)
