  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

I particuarily like the right handed weapon. The arms look a little funny. I'd beef up the biceps, time to *pump up!* The hat is cute. Silly even. I love it. Brilliant idea, need work on the execution. What I'd consider doing different is adding a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Gosh, I think it's a shame that you tear it down (figuratively) at the same time you announce it-- makes any compliments I have sound insincere. The truth is: I rather like it. A sEric states, there are a lot of interesting pieces in the model, and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Diorama

(...) Haha! I was going to use the exact same example! But I wasn't sure of some of my facts, since it's been a while since I saw it, so I decided to leave it out all together. That was a great movie, and alot of the inspiration for this model came (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Diorama

(...) Hey. Question. Are we talking like any movie? Because if so, go and watch Behind Enemy Lines. A pair of UH-1 Huey Gunships ripped through a large number of infantry with heavy armor to back them up, rescued the pilot, and then left with (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

(...) The arms look way too skinny and small in comparison to the legs, however. I don't like the little hat on its head. I like the way the shoulders look, however. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego Creations (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mecha: The Guardian

Well, it's been a while since I built a humanoid Mecha, so I might have it all wrong, but anyway... The pictures don't show what I hoped they would, but it's good enough I guess. PLMKWYT.. (URL) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new MOC: Pulse

(...) True. I believe that all the character in the Tech Romancer game are derivative of other 'genres' of mecha (one Eva-style, one Gundam, for instance), so ours is sort of re-re-interpreted ;^) The two fighting scenes really shine as something (...)
